COULD BE JUST A RUMOR

I know of several loads of county rock that has been hauled out to the Jones road just off the highway west of salem, there is a county road sign there but it dont go anywhere except back into the Jone's farm, pretty much a private drive. No biggie though, just some more "good ol' boy" action taking place. Heard a rumor that there was extensive work done on a road that one of our commissioners just purchased or already owned some property on, ditchwork, pipes replaced , white rock... not sure which road it was, but heard it was in district 2. Could be just a rumor though.

FAST FOOD TRIALS

Both the Spencer and Maxwell trials went fast. There was not enough evidence available in the Maxwell murder to put in a big mac sack. To me fingerprints are a big deal in a case especially if they are on the victims car or a holster or shell box.

I noticed your main page counter went over 130 thousand. Congratulations to Eye On The Courthouse for reporting the news as it happens as well as giving us a place to voice our opinions. I really do appreciate the up to the minute reports on breaking stories. Does anyone know when Mr. Nash will be transported to prison and which prison it will be? I was shocked by the whole trial and how quick it went. I do hope that he gets a new trial just so that the new found evidence can be revealed to a jury. Thanks for listening Thanks, Blog Fan

WHAT THE HELL

Thank you for answering my question. Now who do I complain to that I saw 2 loads of gravel hauled by the county to a "drive" that does NOT have a county sign. And that road graded. At county expense.

HELP ANSWER

If a road in Dent county is maintained by the county it will have a county road number on it. If it is a private drive it will not. The dead end sign may not be county owned, you can buy them and install them yourself.
